“Eurasian Economic UnionGeopolitics and Economic Aspects”

The Representative Office of Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung in Kazakhstan invites you and your colleagues to participate in the international conference on the topic of “Eurasian Economic UnionGeopolitics and Economic Aspects” on the 24-25th of February 2020 in Nur-Sultan.

The two-day conference is divided into two thematic units: on the 24th of February mainly economic issues related to the functioning of the EAEU will be considered, and the 25th of February will be devoted to geopolitical aspects of this initiative. The expected results are analysis and discussion of both economic opportunities and risks of state membership in the Eurasian Economic Union and geopolitical/strategic issues related to this project.

The event will take place on February 24-25, 2020 in Nur-Sultan, University of KAZGUU named after M. Narikbayev (conference hall, 4 floor), Korgalzhyn Highway 8. The event starts daily at 9:00 a.m. with the registration of participants, and the main part starts at 9:30 a.m. Completion of the event is scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on each day.
