International conference “Leonardo Da Vinci and the Atlantic Code: Influence in Central Asia”

This year marks the 500th anniversary of the death of Leonardo Da Vinci, the absolute genius of the European Renaissance. To commemorate this event, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Italy is carrying out a number of initiatives all over the world, having as its main theme the celebration of the genius of the great Italian artist and scientist.

In particular, on May 22, 2019 at 12:00 at L.N.Gumilyov ENU The Embassy of Italy in Kazakhstan, in cooperation with the Ambrosian Library of Milan, organizes an international conference entitled “Leonardo Da Vinci and the Atlantic Code: Influence in Central Asia” under the guidance of professors Edoardo Canetta and Alberto Rocca

Within the framework of the conference in the Kultegin atrium of the administrative building of L.N.Gumilyov ENU there will be a solemn opening ceremony of an exhibition of paintings by Leonardo Da Vinci with the participation of the Rector of ENU Yerlan Sydykov and the delegation from the Italian Embassy in Kazakhstan represented by the Ambassador Italy in Kazakhstan Mr. Pasquale D’Avino and professors from Italy Edoardo Canetta and Alberto Rocca.

 The organizer of the event, initiated by the Italian Embassy in Kazakhstan, will be the Department of Foreign Languages ​​of the International Relations Faculty of ENU.

After the opening ceremony of the exhibition in room 259 of the administrative building of L.N.Gumilyov ENU there will be held a conference entitled “Leonardo Da Vinci and Atlantex Code: Influence in Central Asia”, where honored guests from Italy will make presentations.
