Theme of the course: ” Paradigm of “nationalizing state” in the post-Soviet space.” Lectures will be held from 12 to 23 May 2014 in aud. №215 (FSS building). Lectures time: 10:00 – 13:00.

Cultural and political implications of understanding and demarcation of “nation” in national versus nationalistic. Primordialist and instrumentalist approaches. Defining the status of nation in objective and/or subjective order. Contructivism and ethno-symbolism in understanding the process of nation-formation.
