Applications for award of the Islamic educational, scientific and cultural organization (ISESCO) in the field of science and technology in 2012 have started

This award is presented by ISESCO for outstanding innovation and scientific contribution of social and economic importance, made by scientists and researchers in Biology, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics and Technology.

Not more than two nominations for each of the above fields of science may be represented from each country

ISESCO prize winners will be awarded certificates and cash prize in the amount of 5000 US dollars at the ceremony in the 6th session of the Islamic Conference of Ministers of education and science in October 2012.
