Renowned Specialist in the field of Ecological Modelling of Academy of Sciences (Sofia, Bulgaria), PhD Doctor Philip Gil De Mendonsa lectures in “Environmental modelling” at the Department of General Biology and Genomics from 13 February to 25 February.
As it is known, modeling allows to obtain a preliminary explanation and prediction of the behaviour of ecosystems in conditions where the theoretical level research in trends of the natural environment is not sufficiently precise or probably imprecise. There is a significant gap (including “temporary”) between the practical impact on nature and theoretical understanding of the implications of that influence. In this regard, all more or less completely new versions of the “conversion” of the biosphere should definitely be modeled.
Lectures are held at TSISI (ENU Building 3) in Room 136.
Start: 10.00 am.
Undergraduates and PhD students, teachers of our University are cordially invited.
